I like this idea! But don't add the premium stuff! And also if one of the legends has another premium rank then let them stay with the premium rank and not give them the MVP rank.
For example, Spidercraftyt54 is the top legend on TSW. Since he has Emerald rank then you won't have to change his rank to MVP and he will stay Emerald rank.

What i meant if a legend has Gold, Diamond or Emerald then they won't have the MVP rank and stay with the current premium rank they have since its better. In my opinion.

There must be a way that vertx would solve it if the rank is added on the server that allow vip to get the same perks with mvp rank

Well MVP willl be like a normal player that will have the MVP tag and can change his username's nickname color. Without perks.

I'm not sure if people realise, but the emerald rank is already the MVP rank on BL.
Also, I honestly don't need an MVP tag next to my name when I don't get anything for it, it's pointless in my opinion. I like MOD by itself as well, MOD MVP doesn't even make sense.
