I understand this game/server IS in beta, but with the amount of people with walking particals on, it makes the game unplayable. The server can't process all the particals which causes serious lag and thus the timer to start the game only removes one second or so every five to tens minutes. This means the game will never start and you're just stuck waiting unless you leave. This doesn't happen with other games however, so maybe it's just because it is still in beta...

Yes, you are right that this is still in BETA. BrokenLens Developers can't fix the lag. It's not their fault, but it is Mojang's fault, because of the new update. Don't worry, the issues will be fixed in the next update by the Mojang Team!
