Murder Mystery Problem

In the game murder mystery when I become the murderer it says I'm able to throw the sword. But for some reason every time I throw it AIMED at a innocent it doesn't work :/. I got close to a innocent and threw the sword to see if it even works and the other innocent did not die too!

Hi CreepoGaming, you are not supposed to actually throw the sword, you just hit the players like you would in pvp.

Is that so? It's not fair for the sherrif to shoot infinite times all he wants while the murderer can't even throw his sword because it doesn't work

It says Right Click To Throw The Sword In WIN10
If In MCPE you just hold on the screen and throw it.
But this thing don't work.
So I'm kinda agree you can't throw the sword in murder mystery (bug)

The sheriff can shoot multiple times, but if he/she hits the wrong person then both of them die. I guess that's just a part of the challenge in the game.

im able to kill people when i throw the sword. actually helped me kill ppl a couple times that i wasnt able to reach normally ._.

Sorry but i have to say you are wrong. You actually can throw the sword, but there is no anination. This sonetimes works and sometine doesn't. And yes, the murderer is supposed to throw the sword if he wants to or needs to.

Trust me the sword throwing works I killed 3 people on the roof on the western map...
The thing is there is ALOT of dropback meaning you have to aim high about them

All these replies are confusing me. XD

It's simple, just tap on the screen like you would in PvP ONCE and then it kills the player. It only takes one hit.

If you guys believe it actually works, I went up a ladder, and threw the sword 5 times at the sherrif and he STILL DID NOT DIE. I even went STRAIGHT BEHIND a innocent while he stopped walking and threw the sword too! He did not die either.

I think it won't work if you try throw the sword. I mean it just broken so its kinda useless so throwing the sword isn't working. But when you try throw the sword, there's a chance it disappears from your inventory and can't get it back. It happens to me when I was murderer.
