MM - The most Overrated Game

So I back with another rant! I know I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate but I just want to show my opinion.

MurderMystery is the MOST overrated and boring game in Brokenlens

1. It's SOOOO Boring!!!

- MurderMystery is Soo soooooo boring. First of all There is only about 7% Chance of having fun being a Murd or Sheriff, not including the fact that if you get sheriff the murderer leaves and the game ends or being murd and a spectator telling sheriff and instantly killing you
- If like 93% of the time that you get Innocent. It's super booooring! I mean if you like running around and hoping you don't die then play TNT Run, Tag, or BlockParty which is much more fast paced and fun than MM

2. It is SUPER UNFAIR

- The start of the game immediately puts you on a disadvantage or advantage. Either a useless target running around or Someone that can actually do something. EVEN if you get Murd or Sheriff it's so so unfair still!
- Sheriff is so difficult especially on mobile because the gun is not a BOW!!! like quake you have to HOLD the screen to shoot which makes it so difficult.
- Murderer Trying to be stealthy is almost useless because half of the time a Spectator is telling his friend telling the players who the Murd is (DONT PUT THE ROLES ON THE SPECTATE TAB FFS).

3. There are sooo much Better GAMES!!

- There are so much fun and underrated games in Brokenlens than MM!! Here's a few!
- Like being Sheriff and shooting Murd??
PLAY QUAKECRAFT OR SPLT
- Like running around knowing that you can easily die anytime?
PLAY TNT RUN, TAG, BP OR SPLEEF
- Like killing people?
JUST PLAY EVERY OTHER PVP GAME

So basically the whole point is
TRY OTHER GAMES OTHER THAN MM!
There are so much games on the brokenlens game pool and you shouldn't tryhard one game for all eternity. Give other games a try and Maybe, Just maybe. You will have FUN.

Most people (like me) Play MM because it's one of the easiest games out there. Ntm most of us actually prefer being Innocents. And, unless you have someone with you irl (like me and my sis sitting in the same room) you can't tell your friends who murd is.

Only staff members are able to chat as a spectator. That ability is now off limits to regular players. And idk, I just like MM, and more people play other servers than you think. MM is just a favored choice in the server rn.

I can't help it's boring to you but if people are playing it then it must be amusing to the 400+ people who play it daily. I'm just saying.

Sure but like, why do you have to rant abt it when you like don't have to play it. No ones forcing you. Plus others like it. A lot. It's easy, especially for young children on here. Nice way to chat with friends without sitting in a dead game lobby. Lol.

But yes only staff members can chat as spectator now. And I can agree with the gun for mobile players! I find it very hard and unfair. Also if you are on mobile your aiming at the character with your finger on the screen, but if your body is facing even 2° away from them it aims where the body is facing rather then where your hand is on the screen =_=

There's always something wayyy better to do! Engage in a hobby wether it be Drawing, Playing music or even Building. Playing MM for 8 Hrs a Day isn't really the best hobby at all.

And tbh I only play MM cause I am not good at pvp on mobile and most the other games are dead. Oof. We are trying to start a group that helps promote the dead games to make people notice them and start playing them.

Yes!!! One of the biggest reason of playing MM is because of Peer Pressure. Being left out is one of People's worst nightmare so playing the most played games is what most people do and like they say "Follow the path less taken"

I'm not hating on MY server. I love this server and I love this community. I didn't say anything about hating the server. The point literally flew over your head. This rant was about People should Actually try Other Games because MM is not the only minigame out there.

The reason for this rant is to show you that Brokenlens is one of the Best, Super fun and well polished server. There are so much games out there that are being unrecognised because people choose to play the games that are most played because people think they are "Good" because Many people are playing. Thats not actually the case. I'm not saying to Stop playing it. I play it sometimes when I'm bored! I even make maps for it but there are plenty of games in the server and I think they deserve more love because vertx worked so hard for them.

Edit: I'm making these threads so people get encouraged to try and play the other minigames and hopefully revive them. Not to make people stop playing them.

It’s kind of your opinion, if murder mystery players found the game boring why would they play it? some people find the game fun and it’s one of the only games you can go afk and do something else. Some people (like me) actually like being innocent and don’t care about the chances of being murderer or sheriff.

And I don’t think it’s your place to judge someone over what skin they wear and how long they play the game Such. You can’t assume they aren’t depressed. Depressed people can play Minecraft as well. There are some people with mental illnesses here and you saying they are faking it is actually disgusting to be honest.

If some people want to spend 8 hours on a game for levels it’s their life not yours. Some people play this game to escape life as weird as it sounds, some people find joy in tryharding as seeing their kills, wins and levels go up is an accomplishment to them.

People May say Hide and seek, microbattles and The best builders is boring but it’s their oppinion. Just because Murder mystery players only play Murder mystery doesn’t mean they haven’t branched off to new games. I, a Murder mystery try hard has tried other games but I don’t find them as fun as Murder mystery and that’s okay. Like whatever the hell you like and be proud and don’t let people say the things you like are boring.

And finally (my wrist hurts) it’s so easy to be sheriff. It’s really just you going on a tangent at this point. I’m a mobile player and sheriff is such a simple job it can’t get any more complicated. If you don’t like dying /spawn and go to a new game of murder mystery and vote a big map?... and innocents are never going to stop calling out the murderer it’s always been like that since day one. Maybe don’t be slow and just kill everyone at sight and throw your sword. Using mobile devices as a way to say “too hard can’t do it” is the easiest way to hate on something.

if you hate murder mystery so bad don’t play it.
