Please tell me how I could make this better! This will most likely not be the final world.

Features Of This Version:
  • Leaves
  • Mossy bricks
  • Cracked bricks
  • Vines
  • Cave-Ins
  • Underground area
  • Shelves
  • Torches
Will Add:
  • (If you have any more ideas, comment below!)
The reason why I think a maze would work best for a new map is because of a few simple things.

1. You could confuse the murderer by going down different hallways.
2. It was closed in most areas so the murderer gets a chance.
3. The map is small, which also helps the murderer.
4. There are multiple safe spots that have different ways to escape.
5. It has a creepy-ish sort of theme to it (even before I had added any vines or weathering).
6. No other map is like this; making it unique.

I cant make trees. ;-;
Also I’d prefer if it was always raining, and there would be no night vision.

I will only stay on one post for the rest of the development of this map. I'm afraid it will create a lot of clutter for the Map Submissions tab.

This has taken me over 75 hours to make this map on it’s current version, so please check out the screenshots, at least!

Features Of This Version:
  • Overhaul to the underground, and overhaul to the edges on the surface.
  • Made the map smaller. (Used to be 100x8x100)
  • Added more webs, vines, and weathering spots to the floor, walls, and the underground.
  • Weathering to the roof.
  • Added dripping to the moss above ground.
  • The underground tunnels now are more detailed and have stone at the top.
  • Leaves. (from trees)
  • Cave-Ins. (Protected by barriers so no one gets out)

Will Add:
  • Other parts.

Make sure to always make backups before using commands that involve changing blocks. I had nearly lost my world because I had forgotten a dash(-) on a fill command, and I had no backups. Luckily I reacted quickly to activate a bug that would make sure that the whole thing wasn't destroyed. 1/3 of the map was still affected though. That’s why the map is released late.
If this would ever get added to MM (most likely a 1% chance, but whatever) could you make sure this map doesn't have night vision added to it? Without it adds to the creepiness factor by 200%! I had even scared myself a few times when I was building the map! I'll make sure to keep it a bit illuminated though.
Looks creepy!! This is a really cool design and I like the different concept of a maze. Also, we might have to add barrier blocks over the holes in the ceiling (like in the third screenshot) so hackers can’t get out.

I've already done it

I Like the idea and definetly Love the build. I have som thoughts tho. The maze would be very confusing and difficult. Maybe add some memorable places like Shrines, Waterfalls and rooms so its not so hard to memorize.

I 100% agree with you, but it's starting to get difficult to add more things and make sure that it won't get too cluttered. I've already tried doing this with the torches and cave-ins. The torches indicate if there is a dead end ahead, and the cave-ins are quite easy to memorize. I'll still try to add something, though!

Or.... you could add signs to the walls that have helpful directions to special parts.

It’s you on beta 1.13.0.2?

I like the creepiness the red stone torches do! I like the ‘holes’ in the floor and wall to make it more detailed and aged looking. I think you did a good job!!

I really like it! If it was me I would add cracked stone brick too but up to you- good job- I think it would be really fun to play in and I love the creepy vibe. Maybe throw some skulls here and there?

I was contemplating on the cracked stone brick ceiling too, and I do agree that I should add more skulls!
