A simple one this time
So you are going around in a full diamond armor set (not enchanted) and walk by a river after a thunderstorm. Suddenly, something comes up from behind, and explodes. You are instantly killed, and you go back to the place you died. A skeleton head is on the ground, and the crater is much bigger than a creeper's.
What did it?
And a bonus: How much damage did it do, considering the fact that the explosion does 97 damage but you are wearing diamond armor
Hint: Use a calculator, use this equation
defenseReductionInPercent = damage × 2 ÷ ( ( toughness ÷ 8 ) + 1 ). and round to the nearest hundreth.

ANSWER TO FIRST QUESTION
Gonna guess it’s probably a charged creeper
A thunderstorm can change certain mobs by striking them with lightning, and a creeper is one of those specified mobs. A charged creeper does way more damage than a normal creeper and creates a larger crater.
ANSWER TO BONUS QUESTION
Since no-one has answered it yet,
53.77
defenseReductionInPercent = damage × 2 ÷ ( ( toughness ÷ 8 ) + 1 ).
defenseReductionInPercent = 97 × 2 ÷ ( (20 (the toughness of a full set of diamond armor) ÷ 8 ) + 1 ).
defenseReductionInPercent = 194 ÷ ( 2.5 + 1 ).
defenseReductionInPercent = 194 ÷ 3.5.
defenseReductionInPercent = 55.43
97 x 55.43 = 53.77
Damage taken: 53.7671 (still enough to one-shot 2 players)
defenseReductionInPercent = damage × 2 ÷ ( ( toughness ÷ 8 ) + 1 ).
defenseReductionInPercent = 97 × 2 ÷ ( (20 (the toughness of a full set of diamond armor) ÷ 8 ) + 1 ).
defenseReductionInPercent = 194 ÷ ( 2.5 + 1 ).
defenseReductionInPercent = 194 ÷ 3.5.

97 x 55.43 = 53.77
