Why can’t pc players choose the map for a game in Murder Mystery? I was just playing on a Minecraft Murder Mystery server and it doesn’t show the Nether star in my hot bar for me to choose a map. Please, help.

Are you playing on java or windows10

I am win 10 and I can select the map, so I am gonna assume this is a java problem. But, have you tried checking your inventory to see if it is there? Few years ago, I do recall a bug that caused the star to be in your inventory instead of the hot bar. I am not 100% sure that this will fix the problem, but it is worth trying.

It's because Java edition doesn't have support for the menus we use for the voting screen on BE
We will be working on a solution for that whenever possible though :)
