minecraft crash

i’m not 100% sure where this thread was supposed to go but since it didn’t directly have to do with the server i thought the minecraft forum was the best.

i play minecraft on PE and ever since the most recent update came out and i updated my app i have not been able to get into the app. it only allows me to see the loading screen and then crashes. i looked up a video online and it said to delete the XBL file from my files app and i did but my minecraft still will not load/work. does anyone have any tips on how to fix this?

(also, id rather not delete my app and redownload it because i have the 7 maps i’ve made on there and if i delete the app it will delete my maps which happened to my first map, the bowspleef one)

this is the screen it gets stuck on and then crashes. it doesn’t even let me get to the loading screen or anything.

I think u should try holding the power button to turn off the ipad. Then u hold the power button again to turn it on again, and then try playing minecraft.

Omg This happens to me so much quieen, and I have no idea what it was, Just repetitively click it and it will eventually go in. It's annoying, and my dad has helped me with it before by deleting minecraft then re-downloading it. But that takes awhile. It hasn't happened to me in a while though.

Also my worlds weren't removed when I deleted it and re-downloaded it

they weren’t? that’s crazy whenever i delete and redownload it my worlds delete. but i may try that as last resort thank you!!
