so, Minecraft 1.17 is here.
it's sadly not released at this time, but this is June 8th.
here are some of the new features!
UPDATE: 1.17 release time will be around 11-3pm EST.

wardens
wardens are a new hostile mob that can literally two shot you in netherite armor. i will never cave again!
new ores
so, they are adding copper. that's all I have to say here.
new achievements/advancements

new bugs

The warden is being added in the second part of the update, along with the lower void and lush caves.

Theres also gonna be Amethyst, powdered snow, and copper in this update
