This may be two parts, maybe even three. I hope you guys like it...

10:00 am
Sarah groaned as she threw her pillow towards her alarm clock. She pulled the blankets back over herself and tried to fall asleep again. Suddenly, she shot up as she remembered something important. “Oh my gosh I have to get up! It’s my date with Luke!” she shouted to herself. She gathered her things for her morning routine and got started.

12:00 pm
Sarah has finished doing her hair and makeup and decided to watch some TV to pass the time. She kept shaking her leg and looking at the clock. She was excited yet nervous for her date with her boyfriend. They’ve dated for a year now, and Sarah doesn’t regret any second of it. The relationship with Luke was perfect to her.

12:37 pm
A soft ding sounded from Sarah’s room. She got up and got her phone, noticing a message from Luke.

Hey Sarah. I’m coming over to get you. I hope an arcade stop before our dinner will be okay.

Sarah texted back saying it was fine with her and got her purse. A few minutes later she heard a knock at her door. She knew it was Luke, so she gathered everything she would be taking with her. As she locked her door, and Luke took her hand and they walked to the arcade.

3:00 pm
Luke and Sarah have been playing games nonstop since they arrived at the arcade. Sarah destroyed Luke in a dance battle game, while Luke returned the defeat in a first-person shooter. The smiles never left their faces as they played every game inside the arcade. Luke checked his phone, realizing how much time they’ve spent playing games. “Come on Sarah, I don’t want us to be late for our dinner.” he said.

9:00 pm
Luke and Sarah sat in a nearby park enjoying themselves. The dinner had gone well for the pair, the meals being absolutely delicious. They decided to head to the park just to spend more time together. They sat on the swings and talked about anything and everything. Eventually they laid down in the grass and watches the stars.

11:50 pm
Sarah sat up and brushed the grass out of her hair. She looked at her phone and shouted “Luke! It’s nearly midnight! We should get going.”
Luke got up and offered Sarah his hand, pulling her up. “I’ll walk you home” he said. Sarah didn’t bother arguing, she felt safe with him.

11:58 pm
Sarah and Luke stood at an intersection when Luke started walking out into the middle of the street. He pulled out a box, and got down on one knee. “Sarah. It’s been almost a year being with you. You make me so happy, and I hope I do the same. I want you in my life forever. I want to start a family with you, grow old with you, and simply stay by you the rest of our lives. Basically, Sarah, will you marry me?” he asked.

12:00 - Midnight
Sarah was holding back tears. She didn’t think he would propose to her, but she happily said yes. Sarah was about to run out to him, but the screech of tires made her blood run cold. It seemed like slow motion as the car to hit Luke and sent his now lifeless body rolling.

Sarah couldn’t believe her eyes. She blinked a few times before letting out a bloody scream, falling to her knees. She put her hands to her face, not believing what just happened. As bystanders came to comfort her, she cried harder. Through all the noise though, she heard a laugh. It wasn’t a normal laugh, it was one full of malice. “You’ll never escape fate!” the voice sung and laughed. Sarah brought her head up and looked around. Some distance away, a little girl was laughing. She was the one who said that. Sarah grew angry, but was still heartbroken. She closed her eyes, and all the sounds seemed to disappear.

10:00 am

Sarah woke up. Her pain was gone, she no longer felt heartbroken. She got out of bed slowly. “Was it a dream...” she mumbled to herself. She remembered the chilling laugh of the little girl. She shook her head, no way that was a dream. A ding sounded beside her, it was a text message. Hesitatingly, she reached out for her phone and read the message.

The message chilled her to the bone.
It was from Luke. It was the same message she got yesterday... or was it yesterday? She looked at the date. It didn’t change. It was the date of her boyfriends death, yet he was talking to her.
Her day had started over.
