I like the way it looks
I just have a question with the island. Is it meant to be circular? If so, it looks like an octagon. Theres a way to make a circle if you want to know

It’s pretty good! But, I recommend making the shape of the land either a square or a more circular circle.

Good job for your first map submission! But...
1.The lava needs to be evened out (ik it's a pain but it's worth it)
2.The ground and buildings kinda lack detail.
3.I suggest making the land square so players can have more space to fight.
I hope this wasn't too harsh :(

It looks good, but It can be more great if you:
- Make the land to be a circular / square shape
- Make the roads a little bit wider so there is a space for players to fight
- Add some details on the building and make it a little bit higher, not too high
- Add some different blocks on the land ( 1st layer ) like another blocks that match and fits the color, for example: Black wool, gray sand, and others blocks you think are great to fits the ground color

It's looks pretty good for your first map but I agree with Gamer and trenz maybe enlarged the ground a little bit? xD and maybe try to give the buildings more detail and the ground too, add with other blocks but with the same color.
And decorations? maybe add car or traffic light in the empty space but still playable (have enough space) for players :mrgreen:

- The buildings lack a ton of details. The streets are not realistic at all. I just don't like it. It is something you should try improving
- I know the octagonal shape is intentional, but a circle will be nice. There are tools for you to generate one.
