So there a bug at melon that is when you break melon block it will give you a melon but the other melon in the chest is different name it called melon slice.

Isn't a bug, all the blocks that were already on a sw/tsw map when broken it'll give the default name of that block but when it came from the chest it will have a italic name (it is different tho i get the point) also if the block with italic name got placed and break it will drop the block with it's corresponding default name. Idk what is the purpose of this but ig it is what it is

i dont know how to explain this but i'll try (i may be wrong this is just my opinion)
the purpose of this is i believe to help staff see if the person is dupping stuff and taking it from creative. items from the chests have different names than the standard minecraft names and i find it so fun and special about brokenlens xD so long story short its not a bug its supposed to help

Not a bug, the chest things are renamed, that's why it is italic, broke, crafted or creative inventory blocks (just on tbb) are not renamed

And please send evidence of your bug reports, like videos, screenshots... It's really hard to understand what you're trying to report
