maybe im doing it wrong?

maybe im doing it wrong- but when i try to spectate a friends game it says the player isnt online- when they are

im doing:
/friend spectate (name)
then it says - '(name) is not online
 
I think you need to be on the same server for do this command. So if you want spectate a friend, you need to do /friend join <name> before /friend spectate <name>

When I do that, the command work

You know how there are different IPs for each minigame server? (play.brlns.net , us2.brlns.net , and us3.brlns.net) Well, you and your friend might be on a different one. Also, sometimes /friend join sends you to a diff server, same minigame. Soo yeah. .-.

even /friend join isnt working. still saying they are offline (they are not)

i was on the same server as my friend and it said tehy were not online :/
