Hullo, everyone! o/

While scrolling through the forums, I often see that some players are upset with the newer maps that are being released (mainly due to PvP gameplay). So, I believe that should change.

As the build team leader, I believe that I should take responsibility for these flaws within the maps. Since I want the maps on BrokenLens to not only look good, but also have great gameplay, I would like to hear everyone's opinions on the new maps. This is mainly to fix any minor flaws within already-existing maps, as well as avoid making the same mistakes twice, or thrice, or multiple times.

**note: some maps will be experimental!
If the majority of players dislike these changes or edits, we will try to avoid making the same mistake again.

On like the skywars map, the fences and slabs when there too many around it's annoying to pvp and also the holes on the sunny map and some other maps that I forgot about since I dont play alot anymore

Ooh okay, so I love the aesthetic on the new maps, but let me say a couple things that could help PvP a wee bit :p

• Make buildings not take up most of the space on an island. On maps like paris, you have to squeeze awkwardly around the houses, and if someone sneaks up behind you while you're standing in the doorway, you are practically done for. :nailbiting:
[Edit, oh wait, you already talked a little about making islands bigger :notworthy:]

• Like people have already said, super uneven maps with fences and slabs all over can make movements like strafing very awkward. I really like detail myself, but I usually enjoy games on the 'Mario [Some random letter I forgot xD]' sw map versus 'Apocalypse' of the same game.

The above point can also apply to tnt tag maps, mm maps, ect.

I like decoration just dont overuse it too much on pvp maps but if its non pvp overuse decoration 100% it makes the maps more enjoyable (only for non pvp) its only my opinion

Well, idk, basically since i have low frames i think you should remove (Not all) details on sw.Leave some of them, it might be useful for strats.Idk about other games, since Sw is my favourite minigame.

On map F in SG there’s this spot absolutely full of chests, like it’s so many and the amount of food makes it basically unfair
It’s hard to explain the spot but it’s by the water inside a building, if you’re on sometime I can show you maybe

Could you send a screenshot so I know what exactly to look for?

In Haunted Mansion on Murder Mystery, if you go out to the front of the mansion, there's big vines or leaves- you can get softlocked in them, and players decide to hide in there.

Tbh, i prefer maps that has less detail but the gameplay is fun, so maybe just focus on gameplay more than details? I really dont like the abandoned hotel on mm, too many details that they put holes on the ground that players keeps bumping into when sprinting, the amount of cobweb and leaves is just everywhere, it's ok to make a rustic map, but pls make it larger so player can easily move around without tapping the forward button 6 times just to sprint.
