Making redstone usable?

I think it would change the game in a new fresh way so yea why not?
(And the creeper kit would be way better xD)
But for now as a tip mabey just build old scool stuff like: pressure plate on sand and tnt under the sand if you want.Or build tnt cannons without redstone.
I dont know.Its what people did before redstone even got a use back in.....I dont know its too long ago xD.
