Im so so so so sorry for the long delay. I’ve been rather depressed lately and it’s really affected my writing and thoughts. I always want these to be good for you guys, so I kept putting it off until I could make that happen.
I hope this is good, so here you are.

During the Manor lockdown, housekeeper Hatake visited every guest in their rooms. She asked each one who could’ve done it, and two names were thrown out the most. However, since she didn’t believe in asking two to leave at the same time, housekeeper Hatake let both Carti and Cinder stay another day.
—
The Manor remained on a soft lockdown. This allowed guests to roam the Manor, but they were not permitted outside. However, this didn’t stop a pair of guests from seeking out another ways of elimination.
A pair of guests snuck out of the Manor without being noticed. One carried nothing, while the shorter of the two carried a crossbow and a small quiver of arrows. They snuck their way around the Manor, and tried to find the perfect spot outside the room they were looking for. They had found what they were looking for, and the taller of the two grabbed the crossbow from the shorter, since they had the superior aim. Taking two arrows, the taller climbed the tree they were next to. They loaded the bow with an arrow, and took aim.
—
Inside the Manor, guests were being more cautious with who they decided to be with. This didn’t stop small pairs from forming however. Inside one of the rooms, a pair were inside talking about whatever was on their mind. One was sitting on the bed, head in their hands, and the other was seemingly listening intently to the other speak.
“I haven’t had one solid case yet!” groaned the guest on the bed.
“I’m sure you’ll get a case soon. Someone has to want a lawyer eventually, right?” spoke the other.
Before the one on the bed could reply, an arrow shot through the window, hitting him right in the head. The other in the room ran over, trying to see if he were still alive. However, mere seconds after the first shot, another arrow shot into the room. The arrow hit the other in the head as well, and she fell upon the bed.
—
Back outside, under the tree, the two quickly threw away any items that would link then back to this murder.
“Hurry! With that sound of glass breaking it’ll only be a matter of time before everyone gets there.” said the shorter.
The taller just nodded before they both ran inside, upstairs to the room where their two victims laid.
Eventually everyone arrived, and housekeeper Hatake had already covered the bodies with a blanket. “Housekeeper, who was it this time?” Asked one of the guests.
She looked at them and replied, “It appears to have been Pufflin and Mc. Both shot with an arrow that was traveling faster than normal. I assume a crossbow was the weapon.”
Housekeeper Hatake sent all the guests back to their rooms to deal with the two latest victims. “I sure hope this ends soon...” she murmured to herself.
I hope this is good, so here you are.
