All the guests have safely arrived at the Autumnburn Manor. It was time for the games to begin.
Housekeeper Hatake brought all the guests into a large ballroom, where they would all introduce themselves to each other. While everyone chatted, she went around giving the guests soda in fancy wine glasses (because this shall remain child-friendly, despite the murder.)
Everything was going smoothly. The guests were all getting along well. One guest being generous enough to play the piano for some music to dance to. Everyone seemed to enjoy the music, quickly finding a partner to dance with to the melody.
When the climax of the melody approached, the lights in the Manor cut out. Everything abruptly went silent. Suddenly, there was a loud crash from the center of the ballroom. Quickly after the crash, Housekeeper Hatake asked if everyone was alright while trying to turn the lights back on.
When the lights clicked back on, in the center of the room there were two bodies under a fallen chandelier. Horrified gasps and whispering filled the silence. A few guests got closer to the bodies. When they looked closer, they realized the two under the chandelier were Screecher and ZoeyLynne. Everyone in the room thought of this to be a tragic accident. However, Housekeeper Hatake held up a piece of paper and read it out loud to the guests.
“This wasn’t an accident. I’m sorry.”
