"Okay, who next?"
The two murderers were huddled in a very small closet, which would make a claustrophobic person sick. It was the day after Tang's and Xarious's deaths.
"Let's just camp outside the toilets and see who goes pass," the murderer, who was obviously the one in charge, told his partner.
"Sounds good," the other murderer replied, and the two of them headed over to the toilets.
When they finally reached their destination, they spied two people heading over to the female toilets.
"Dang it!" the younger murderer cursed rather loudly.
"Shut up!" the other murderer hissed at him. "They'll hear us!"
Fortunately for the murderers, their two victims didn't hear them; they had disappeared inside the toilets. The younger murderer made his way to the female toilets.
"What are you doing?" his partner asked, crossed. "You can't just go and walk into the ladies' toilets!"
The younger one turned around.
"I don't care," he replied. "You're always the one bossing me around - let me make my own decisions!"
The murderer ran into the toilets.
"S***!" the older one swore as he heard screaming.
The toilet door flung open and out of the toilets ran their two victims, screaming. The younger murderer chased them, a knife in one hand. The older one ran after his partner, and when he was close enough to him, he snatched his knife from his clenched hand and threw both of the knives at their victims. Both knives found their target.
The murderers ran over to their victims, who had collapsed after the knives pierced them in the back.
"Pufflin," the younger murderer read out loud their IDs. "And Zoey,"
He looked up to find the older murdering glaring at him.
"And this is why," the older one said, grabbing his partner by the arm. "I'm in charge."
Someone called out behind them.
"Run!" the murderers both said and ran down the hallway and out of sight.
Pi heard screaming in the distance and felt both nervous and excited. He wanted to show his loyalty to the murderers. Running as fast as he could, he followed the screams. The screaming stopped and Pi slowed to a jog. It led him to the toilets. At the end of the corridor, he spied two people crouching over two bodies.
"Hey!" he called out, jogging over to them, excited.
The murderers looked up and ran away from him.
"Dammit," Pi whispered under his breath.
He walked over to Pufflin's and Zoey's bodies and knelt over them.
At the same time, a crowd of people had appeared at the toilets, herded by the screams.
"Hey!" one person said. "It's the murderer!"
The people ran over to him. Pi knew that if they caught him, they would interrogate him and try to find out the real murderers. He knew what to do next. Pi grabbed a nearby pot plant and threw it against the window. It shattered, sending glass shards onto the pavement 30 metres below. Pi took a deep breath and jumped. The people looked down just in time to see Pi's body, sprawled on the pavement. They would never find out who the murderer was. For now.
