Day 8

Ally sat on her bed, staring at Vix's diary. The clues on the cabin wall and the clues in the diary had pointed to Timeless, and now that he's dead, Ally could now relax. A cup of hot cocoa in one hand and Vix's diary in the other, Ally leaned back on her bed, reading the diary for any more clues. Her eyes skimmed the scrawled writing on the pages as she took small sips of the hot substance, sending warmth down her throat. Ally read the diary from cover to back three times before something caught her eye. Her eyebrows narrowed and she hurriedly swallowed her cocoa before reading out loud to herself.
"My final days are almost here," she murmured under her breath, pausing to turn the page. "She's coming to get me."
After a moment, Ally threw the diary against the wall. It slammed against the wall and fell to the floor, lying on its spine. Ally let out a scream of frustration and buried her face in her hands. She had caught the wrong guy.
Pufflin wandered around the forest, humming to herself.
"All my friends are dead. Push me to the edge." she hummed.
After half-an-hour of walking, she came across a wide hole in the ground. Curious, Pufflin peered down.
"Hello?" she called out.
Her voice echoed in the hole. After a moment of silence, something echoed back. It was laughter. Something pushed Pufflin forwards and she fell, screaming at the top of her lungs. She fell to the floor with a soft thud; the soft snow and leaves cushioned her fall. Pufflin groaned and stood up. She was trapped in a cave system. Something growled to her right. Pufflin turned and screamed again. A bear emerged from the shadows, drool dripping from its fangs and a furious expression etched on its face. It lunged at her, baring its fangs, and Pufflin only had time to cover her face with her hands.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the campsite, some officials, accompanied by the manager, locked the windows and doors of one cabin and answered the questions of some of the tourists.
"Why do you think they're locking the cabin?" Builder asked one of his roommates.
"Because all the people that lived there are dead, duh," Kitty replied, rolling her eyes. "Smoosh, Pi, Kathy, and Limber stayed there, remember?"
Not too far away, Sami heard their conversation. He sighed and headed back to his cabin to clear his mind. Once inside, he made himself an espresso and headed to the living room to relax on the sofa. He was about to lie down when he heard a thump above him. Curious, Sami dashed upstairs and paused. There was another thump above him. He rushed to his bedroom and opened the window that faced the forest. He poked his head out and looked up. Before he could process what was on his roof, a figure kicked him in the chest and he was sent flying into the wall. The figure gracefully landed on his bed and aimed a kick at Sami again. He was ready this time. He grabbed the person's foot and punched the person in the face. The figure recoiled, clutching its jaw, and grabbed a knife from its belt.
Outside, Iuc was passing by when she heard some loud thumps coming from one of the cabins. Without thinking, she entered the cabin and slowly made her way up the stairs. Oblivious of Iuc's presence, Sami was running out of adrenaline. Once he punched the figure in the stomach, he opened the window that faced the other cabins.
"MURDERER HERE!" he screamed, attracting attention.
Before he could say anything else, Sami gasped and fell out of the window and onto the snow below, the murderer retrieving its knife from his back before he fell. Ally saw Sami's lifeless body and immediately dashed into the house. She saw Iuc running down the stairs.
"Ally the murderer is --" she started, but before she could finish her sentence, she fell to the ground, a knife stuck in her head.
Ally avoided Iuc's body and ran up the stairs, just in time to see the figure leap out of the window. Ally rushed to the window. There weren't any signs of where the murderer escaped to. A scream of fury echoed around the campsite.
