Ally stared at Vix's bed, lost in thought. She thought of all the suspects and tried to imagine who would've done this terrible act. But it was hard to picture the scene; all of the suspects seemed like they wouldn't hurt a fly. Ally knew that one of them was the murderer, and that one of them did kill Nash and Vix. She examined the room for any clues. All that was left from last night was an empty bed with a few stains still on the covers. A glint caught Ally's eye. She looked under the bed and found a leather-bound book and a knife. She placed the knife carefully in a bag and opened the book. It was Vix's diary. Ally read Vix's writing, hoping there would be clues. She was not let down. Ally's eyes widened as she read on, and by the time she closed the book, she knew who the culprit was.
"Hey!" Wolfy exclaimed when he found a few pairs of skis in a wooden shed. "We can go skiing!"
"Wait for real?" Dany peeked his head around the corner.
His face lit up when he saw the skis.
"Let's go!" Dany said, grabbing the skis and making his way to the highest hill he saw.
The hill was rather tall. Falling from that height would kill someone, and to make it even more dangerous, the ravine spread all the way along one side of it. Wolfy and Dany finally reached the top of the hill, exhausted.
"Look at that," Wolfy panted, pointing to the ravine.
"We'll better be careful then," Dany replied, putting on his skis.
Wolfy copied him, and in no time they were ready to ski.
"3!" they chanted. "2! 1! Go!"
They started skiing down the slope, going at a rather fast pace. They were starting to enjoy the cool breeze and the adrenaline until something bumped into both of them. Two of their fellow tourists were following them, also on skis, and they were rather close to the edge of the slope.
"Hey watch it!" Wolfy exclaimed, trying to steer himself to the centre of the slope.
Without warning, one of the tourists rammed into Wolfy again. He lost control of the skis and was sent flying into the ravine. Dany looked at the other two tourists in shock.
"Murderers!" he exclaimed angrily and tried to ski faster down the hill.
"You're not getting away!" one of them called out before taking out a knife.
Dany felt the tip of the knife graze against his arm. Blood rushed out of his wound, but he ignored it and concentrated on making it to the bottom of the hill. The murderers took out another knife and threw it again. This time, it hit Dany square in the chest. Keeling over in pain, he lost control of his skis and skidded to a halt on the slope. The murderers stopped just behind him and grinned. Lifting Dany up by the arms, the murderers brought Dany to the edge of the hill and threw him over the side into the ravine. Once they've completed their mission, they headed back downhill without being noticed.
Ally ran over to the crowd of tourists, all gathered at the edge of the ravine. Pushing her way to the front, Ally saw two bodies sprawled on the ravine floor. She turned to the crowd and gestured for silence.
"I found out who the murderer is," she announced, glaring at every one of them. "And he is also guilty of murdering those two,"
She pointed to the bodies before speaking again.
"Where's Timeless?"
The crowd parted to reveal Timeless, shocked.
"Ally I swear it wasn't me," he said, backing away from Ally.
"I have evidence against you," Ally replied, walking closer towards him.
"I would never kill anyone! I swear!" Timeless said, more urgently.
"Don't lie to me Timeless!" Ally shouted.
"I'm not lying!" Timeless shouted back, taking another step backwards.
Suddenly he lost his footing behind him and fell.
"No!" Ally cried, looking down at the ravine, where Timeless now joined Dany and Wolfy.
She turned to the crowd of tourists.
"I guess my work here is done for now," she said before storming off back to her cabin.
