Vix lay in her bed, frozen. For days she had been laying there, thinking about her long gone brother. Her cabin mates have tried to urge her out of bed, but Vix wouldn't even move a finger. She was still mourning for Nash. The next morning went by in a blur without any deaths, and Vix was still in her bed. By nightfall, all of the tourists had returned to their cabins to call it a night. Vix's cabin mates all slept, while she laid awake, lying with her back to the door. She was awake for a while when she heard the creak of a floorboard behind her. Turning around, her heart leapt a bit when she saw a person leaning over her, a knife in one hand. The murderer was taken aback.
"Most people scream when I kill them." the murderer said, frowning.
Vix smiled slightly.
"Before you kill me," she started. "I want to ask you a question."
The murderer was shocked at Vix's calmness.
"Fine." the murderer answered, eyeing her strangely.
"Did you kill my brother, Nash?" Vix asked.
The murderer paused.
"No," the murderer replied. "My partner killed him."
Vix closed her eyes.
"Kill me then," she said. "I want to join Nash."
The murderer smiled.
"I think I'll just kidnap you and hide you somewhere in the woods," the murderer said. "That way you'll live forever in agony."
Vix glared at the murderer through her tears.
"If you won't kill me, then I'll make you kill me," she said.
Before the murderer could respond, she took the murderer's knife-hand and stabbed herself in the chest. Vix's grasp on the murderer's hand loosened and she fell into her bed, staining her blanket red. The murderer was even more shocked at what Vix had done. Scanning around the room, the murderer fled the crime screen.
Sirens wailed as Vix's body was taken away from the cabin. Tourists woke up from their slumbers and ran outside to see the commotion. Vix was loaded onto the back of the ambulance and driven back to the hospital to be cleaned up. Once the ambulance was long gone, the tourists started sharing their rumours and theories. One of the tourists woke up in her cabin to hear people chatting. Running outside, Kaycee approached her group of friends; suddenly two pairs of hands grabbed her and carried her behind the cabins. The murderers that kidnapped Kaycee thought that they had no witnesses. Little did they know that someone had seen Kaycee being kidnapped and that someone ran to the back of the cabins to save her. However, Spencer was too late. Kaycee's blood stained the snow red, and above her stood the two murderers, one crouching over Kaycee's body to take the knife out of her chest. Before Spencer could call for help, pain pierced throughout his chest and he fell to the floor, breathing shallowly. One of the murderers took out the knife and stabbed him repeatedly until he was dead. One of the murderers decided that the innocent tourists needed a hint; that murderer grabbed the knife and carved something into the side of the cabin before running away with the other murderer.
Later that night Spencer's and Kaycee's bodies were found, slumped in a red patch of snow. Some of the tourists noticed another carving on the cabin wall.
"This was the doing of...." one readout, trying to make out the last letter.
"'T'?" one suggested.
"It could be an 'I'." another butted in.
"No it's an 'L'!" another said.
In the end, they all decided that the murderer started with either an 'L', 'I', or 'T'. Ally was voted as the detective. She took note of all the people that had names starting with the letter before heading back to bed. She would start investigating the next day.
