I apologize for it being late and kind of all over the place. I’ve been both busy and not too well mentally but I’m okay and don’t want to keep you guys waiting!

After the murder of Ani, the queen was disappointed. She worried of executing someone that is innocent, but she asked people who they believed were responsible, praying they gave her someone guilty. The person said the most was Strel. The queen took action and her executed, hoping this time the people were right and another innocent life wasn’t wasted.
After execution, Gab returned home. He spent most days at home nowadays to avoid being murdered and even suspected himself. However a friend of his gave him a call to check on him and see how he’s doing. His friend invited him out to their house for dinner. Gab thought about it, and eventually agreed as he felt sometime outside away from his home would be good for him. However this would prove to be a devastating mistake on his end.
As night fell, Gab left the safety of his home to visit his friend. The streets were dark, only lit by a couple lamps that still somehow worked. There weren’t even people roaming about as usual, so Gab knew he wasn’t the only one fearful in the town. As he approached the door of his friend, someone from behind held a rag over his nose and mouth. All Gab could smell was chemicals as he shortly passed out.
When Gab came to he was in a basement. He couldn’t tell whose as he hasn’t been to many other houses. He was strapped into a chair. He gave an experimental tug and sure enough, he was tied down pretty well. There was no way he would be getting lose.
After what felt like forever a person came in wearing all black. Even their face was covered. Gab asked all sorts of questions, why was here, why him, and if he would be able to leave. The person never did answer. They just stared at him for a while, before grabbing a couple tools. Gab noticed two knives and a pair of pliers. He began to plead for his life, begging with tears slowly making their way down his face. This didn’t make the person hesitant. They went to work torturing poor Gab. However they went overboard, killing him in the process.
Somewhere else in the cover of darkness, another person was about to fall victim to murder. They were just walking home as a person in all black tackled them to the ground. The person in black tried to stab them immediately, but they fought back. The two scuffled for only moments which felt like hours. Just as the victim was growing tired, a strange sound was heard. Whatever this sound was caused the person in black to stop attacking. They got up and looked at the person on the ground. Slowly they took two steps back before turning and fleeing. Somehow, the person attacked made it home having survived an attack all because of a strange sound.
