Zoey crept into her cabin, taking caution. Before she had told Ally about the other murderer, she had seen a fishy figure enter her cabin. Curious, Zoey followed the figure inside her cabin and ended up crouching at the bottom of the stairs. She didn't dare to breathe loudly as she crept up the stairs, edging her way into the hall. Once at the top of the stairs, Zoey leaned against the wall and scooched her way down the hall, listening to any peculiar sounds. A series of loud crashes came from her room. Zoey carefully opened her door and peered around the frame. Someone was hunched over her desk, pulling each draw open and flicking through the items in each.
"A clue, a clue...." a feminine voice said, still searching each drawer. "The note said there was a clue that linked the murderer's identity here...."
The person opened a draw and gasped, holding something up to the dim light that shone from the window. Zoey had seen enough. She emerged from the shadows and cleared her throat. The person screamed and ran to the window.
"You ain't killing me today, murderer!" the person said, not bothering to look back, and jumped out of the window.
Zoey watched in horror as the person tripped whilst trying to escape out of the window and fall head-first onto the roof. There was a sickening crack. She ran to the window and saw the person, sprawled on the snow below. She carefully crawled out of the window and jumped down to where the person lay. Once safely on the snow, Zoey turned the person over onto her back. It was Fuzzy, the tourist that she had seen earlier, who was mourning Matty. Zoey glanced down at Fuzzy's hands. One was clenched over something yellow. Zoey pried Fuzzy's fingers away from the object and peered at it. It was a yellow flower.
"That's not right," Zoey murmured. "It's still Winter."
Zoey glanced up at the crowd, who was still chatting about Icy's arrest. She picked up the flower and ran over to them; she had to tell Ally before it's too late.
Kitty was joyous. She was glad that the murderer had been caught, and to celebrate she decided to go ice skating. Putting on her skates, Kitty hurridly rushed onto the ice, not aware that someone was watching her nearby. For a few minutes, the murderer let her skate in peace before skating over to her. Kitty looked up to see someone skating towards her at a fast rate and froze in fear. The murderer skated over to her until she was only a few metres away.
"Have fun freezing!" the murderer said.
Before Kitty could react, the murderer stabbed the ice with her knife. A loud cracking sound came from underneath them, and before Kitty could skate away, the ice below her crumbled and she fell into the freezing water. The murderer had skated away just in time. The majority of the ice had collapsed, leaving the dark blue water exposed. The murderer chuckled. There was no sign of Kitty anywhere.
"My work today is done," the murderer said before walking away from the lake.
