In the kingdom of Winterfell, all was peaceful. However, evil has begun to spread over the land as killers began to disperse, spreading chaos wherever they went.
The kingdom of Winterfell was undergoing a terrible change. A new queen had taken over, and shortly afterwards people began to disappear. Sometimes these people were found dead, others we never found at all. The people began to fear the worst as the kingdom seemed to slip further away from peace. For a short time the killing and abductions stopped. Slowly things were returning to being peaceful but one question still lingered; would the killers come back?
In the early spring, that question was answered. The first attack happened at Lynx’s home. He and his friend Carti were sharing scary stories inside his room. Just as Lynx was about to begin his story, the lights went out. Lynx being the braver of the two went to investigate. Lynx found his way to the kitchen were the fuse box was. He glanced around not noticing anything out of the ordinary and turned the lights back on. As he turned back around, an intruder stabbed him. Lynx tried his best to defend himself but couldn’t do much as the intruder stabbed him several more times.
Carti heard the scuffling and decided to be brave herself and go investigate. As she neared the doorway she saw Lynx laying in a pool of his own blood, clearly having been stabbed several times. She screamed at the sight and the intruder that was blocking the exit. She turned to go out the back door, only to run into another intruder. The intruder raised a gun at Carti and without hesitation shot her several times. Carti fell to the ground dead and the intruders fled from the scene.
Later, when the queen addressed the people, she assured them the killers would be caught. The people believed the queen and hoped this would be just one unfortunate incident. However, this was only the beginning.
