Mafia - Day 5
The day started off as usual. Students walked to their classes, chatting to each other about the killings. They were calmer now since they've 'employed' Builder as the detective, and so far he has been rather useful. He had linked up as much evidence as he could find, and so far all of the clues were directed to Timeless. Timeless denied all of his theories; he tried to convince anyone that would listen to him, but now everyone was avoiding him like he had the Cheese Touch.
Class went on as usual. The murderers decided not to kill anyone in the first class since people were starting to realise that their peers were killed during Morning Tea. They decided to strike during Lunch. The first class and morning tea passed, and the students hurried along the corridor as the bell for the second lesson rang. It was their first swimming lesson at school. Some students were rather talented at it, doing handstands underwater and synchronised swimming. Others were afraid of the water and would barely dip their toe into it. The murderers noticed this and decided to aim for their weaker peers.
The bell rang and the students ran back to the toilets to get changed. Even though the murderers were now separated, they knew exactly what to do. They both got changed quickly and hung around their toilets, acting casual and waiting for the toilets to empty. Once they and one other student were left, they both seized their victims and carried them outside to the pool. The students tried to resist, but their mouths were covered and the murderers' grip on them was too strong.
"So," one of them said to both victims when they reached the pool. "I hear that you don't like swimming."
The students tried screaming, but it was no use. The murderers smiled malevolently and dunked their heads into the water. They held their heads there for a few minutes until their victims weren't thrashing around and there were no bubbles, created from their underwater screams. The murderers left the bodies to drift in the pool until someone else came to collect them.
Timeless walked down the corridor, his head clouded with dark thoughts. He couldn't believe that everyone thought he was the murderer when in reality he wasn't. He shook his head and muttered angrily under his breath. He needed to prove to Builder and the others that he was innocent. Timeless turned the corner and passed the swimming pool when something caught his attention. He peered back to the swimming pool and gasped. Ally's and Mchk's bodies were lying face down in the water, not stirring. Timeless ran to the edge of the swimming pool to fish them out. He knelt down and grasped both of their heads, pulling them out of the water. When the bodies were a few millimetres from the pool wall, a light blinded Timeless temporarily and he looked up to see Builder with Jely and Emoty. Builder was holding a Polaroid camera.
"So I was right all along." he sneered. "Timeless is the murderer!"
"Builder I swear--" Timeless tried to interject, but it was no use.
"Seize him!" he ordered Jely and Emoty, and the two grabbed Timeless by the arms and marched him to the principal's office.
Builder explained to the principal about his suspicions about Timeless, and he showed him the photograph he took earlier. It showed Timeless with both hands on the victims, looking like he was drowning them. The principal, convinced, expelled Timeless, and Timeless was never to be seen at the school again. The students all cheered and congratulated Builder on his success of catching the murderer at last. But what the cheering students didn't realise was that the murderers were still lurking around, waiting for their next moment to strike again.
