Sorry for the delay! There was a late response from one of our roles, but it’s all good now. Onto the night!
~
Having survived two attacks, to say Thomas is on edge is an understatement. Poor Thomas has been worried so much, that his friend Lolo decided to stay with him.
“Thomas, what are the chances of them attacking you again? They failed twice. Maybe they won’t take another chance.”
“Maybe... But Lolo I’ve never been lucky, let alone twice. If they come for me again, I’m as good as dead.”
Lolo just sighed, patting Thomas on the back.
~
The two were near Lolo’s house when Thomas heard a sound from behind them. Thomas froze, whispering to Lolo “It’s them... They always attack from behind for a surprise...”
Lolo shook his head and kept walking. “Thomas you’re just paranoid.”
However when Lolo turned around, there was a person there, but it wasn’t Thomas.
“Hey! What did you do to Thomas?!”
The figure said nothing. They just approached, pulling out a knife. Lolo turned and ran. He ran as fast as he could, adrenaline pulsing through his veins. However, his attempt to run was only in vain. The figure had chased him, and being faster than Lolo, easily caught him. Lolo only managed a small squeak before the figure had killed him.
~
The next day Mayor Hatake gathered the remaining people in the square. She frowned at how little people remained. She could sense the tension in the air. She carried on as normal though, announcing the two bodies that were found. Galactic was hauled up for execution.
~
After dismissing the remaining people, Hatake once again was seen frowning. “This isn’t good... too many people are dying. With only 17 people left... this can only go on for a couple more nights... I should speak with the doctors, get them to be of better help.”
With that, Mayor Hatake sent out for the doctors, hoping to give them enough information to save the next victims.
