Another day after murders, another trial. This time Puff was sent into trial. She was found guilty and executed. The people really felt like Puff was one of the killers this time... but were they right?
Throughout the day various people that remained went up to chat with Zoey who took the doctors place in handling the bodies. Nothing seemed off until nighttime where Zoey, although very present, seemed to be not there.
Whenever someone went up to her she’d mutter nonsense, ranging from flowers and nature to what she ate last night, even to some random memories as a child. Absolutely nothing she said made any sense, and no one could figure out what was the matter.
It took the smell of metallic in the air and someone to see Zoey from behind to figure out the cause. As Zoey walked about muttering, there was an axe protruding from her back. The person who noticed immediately rushed over, but Zoey collapsed to the ground, dead. As people gathered around poor Zoey, another one saw something strange just out in the forest by town. They decided to investigate while the others took care of Zoey.
As they approached the strange scene, they realized it was just a picnic... but why out in the forest when no one was around? What made it stranger was there was a single platter in the center of the cloth covered by a metal dome. They decided to remove the cover and discovered the terrible sight of a head. The head belonging to Venus. As they backed away in terror, they backed into a tree. Noticing something out of the corner of their eye, the look up and find Venus’ body hanging just a foot above them.
The person ran out of the forest quickly, not daring to look back at the horrible sight.
