“What happen?” The sheriff asked.
“A man called the ambulance and said there were a man with knife wounds on a bridge” One of the doctors said.
“But I guess it was already too late” Fire said in a sad voice.
“I guess we should head back home, don’t you think?” The sheriff said.
“Yes, I guess, See you tomorrow” Fire said with a tired voice and they parted ways.
“I’m tireeeeed” Fire said out loud on her way home.
“I-I don’t feel so good.”
She saw a shadow like figure in the distance, getting closer and closer but all she saw was everything fading away. She fell down, laying there on the sidewalk in the darkness.
The shadow like figure went to her body and looked for a pulse but couldn’t feel one. The person left.
On the morning they found Fire dead in the crystal white snow.
“Sheriff, we have suspect” One of the cops told to the sheriff.
“Who?”
“Thomas is his name”
“Why?”
“Well, They found the same poison in his house as the poison found in Fire’s system.”
“Only that?”
“No, They found letters, looking like the letters found on crime scenes.”
“But they could have just been placed there by the real killer”
“Yes, we thought so to until we found his DNA on the letters we have.”
“Hmmm, Kill him then.” The sheriff answered.
“But sir/ma’am, aren’t that too….”
“What did I just tell you?” The sheriff said with an angry voice.
“I’m sorry sir/ma’am, We will do” The police said and walked away.
Later that day Thomas were executed.
