After the dramatic day, The sheriff interviewed Harold on what happen with the Mayor’s help.
“We clearly saw you die” the sheriff claimed.
Harold looked confused like he didn’t even know the answers to most of the questions.
The Mayor took the sheriff to the side,
“You know, Only you and the Doctor saw his body, you should be careful or people will start suspecting you and the doctor”
The sheriff was worried and tried to ignore what the mayor said.
“Hey, Harold is your name right?” The sheriff said.
Harold nodded.
“Let’s recap what happen from the start” The sheriff said.
“Yes, I was in my kitchen, when I heard a knock on the door. I went to the front door and watched outside the window on the door. There were no one outside only a package. I open the door and took the package, I put it on the kitchen table. I read the letter, I was a bit confused but I thought I knew who it was from. So I took a cake slice but it tasted weird. I started coughing and was about to take water but I just fell down.”
“That’s all I remember from that night” Harold said.
“Do you remember any suspicious things, even the small things can help” The mayor said with a calming voice.
“Yes, well I remember really slightly, there was a person in my house, after I fell down on the floor I saw shoes, the person looked down at me so I saw the face but..”
“but what?” The sheriff said really stressed.
“but, the person had a black mask with red markings on its face. But I saw the person with a letter, then it all went black.”
“A letter?” The mayor asked in surprise.
“yes, a letter.”
“Well that makes sense.” The sheriff said and took out a letter from its pocket.
“Was this the letter you saw?” The sheriff asked.
“No, On the letter I saw there was no symbol and it had a name on it, someone I know” Harold said.
The sheriff was about to say something when screams came from the town. They all ran outside.
People stood outside a house in fear.
“I know this house” Harold said.
“It’s here I woke up when I ‘came to life again’”
The sheriff ran inside with the both following but they all stopped at the house entrance in shock.
Right there, The bloody body of Ashy was found.
“This can’t be….” The mayor said in shock.
“The Doctor…..is dead” the sheriff said in a low voice.
The sheriff looked around and saw an driver license with the name “Crystal” beside the body, there was the same symbol on the license as the letters and the tattoos.
“Her name, It was her name who was signed on the letter.” Harold said.
“Then why would you eat the cake?” the sheriff asked in a rush.
“Because she was superpi’s friend.”
The sheriff took it to its own hands and arrested Crystal. With the ‘proof’ the town quickly pointed out Crystal. But what they didn’t know, She was set up.
