Chatter filled the air as Grqy and his friends talked and laughed. They got loads of candy and were only going to get even more. The group of friends walked up to the house and rang the doorbell, but no one came. Grqy then spammed the doorbell in impatience, and the lights inside went out. He turned around and all of his friends were also gone. The street had gotten noticeably darker, and the darkness seemed to be... closing in on him.
Grqy fell into a raging panic and spammed the doorbell even harder, and still, no one came. He felt something grab him on his back, and he turned around to see the darkness lapping at his back. Grqy screamed, and the darkness ate him.

A person in a plague doctor costume had followed Dudr for the past 30 minutes, and Dudr was unable to get the person off of their (rip gender) trail. Soon, Dudr walked into an alleyway with a dead end. They turned around, and the plague doctor person took out a syringe. Dudr braced themself to have to fight their way out, but before their reaction time let them move, the plague doctor person was already behind them and injecting the fluid into Dudr's neck.
Dudr's sight went blurry, and the plague doctor person was gone. They got up and ran out of the alleyway, trying to find an adult. Soon enough, they found a few adults supervising a huge group of kids.
"Please help me!"
"What's the matter deary?"
"Someone in a plague doctor costume chased me and injected some kind of fluid into the back of my neck... I think it was poison!"
Dudr showed the adults the small puncture where the syringe was inserted.
"Don't worry deary, we'll call 911 and you'll be patched up, and that person who ambushed you will get caught!"
"Oh thank goodness, thank you so-"
"Deary? Deary! Quick, someone call an ambulance!"
Dudr's eyesight blurred, and a huge pain shot through their entire body. Dudr fell to the ground, and a high-pitch noise filled her ears.
