Im aware there's been plenty of threads and discussions about this and its questionable how the build height limit is still over hundreds of blocks even from the highest point in certain maps.
This needs a change and im sure a lot of us can agree.
Idk if i should explain why but here are some notes;
• games tend to go on for prolonged periods of time
• can be used as a strat to keep a certain or any player from enjoying the game in general or winning
• pvp games that are on a strict set timer goes on to time out and this can be repeated as many times as whoever feels like doing it
• low effort way of wasting other players time
• basically a slap in the face when sky campers have any projectiles to knock you off
Sure there are ways to counter this by carrying projectiles of your own or use the pearl trick but I'll say this openly; the build height limit on some maps are straight up absurd. At times it's so high the player is out of render distance and ways out of bow and egg/snowball range. Not to mention projectiles are difficult to come across or have on you at all times. It's frustrating when you end up getting knocked off or run out of blocks or not have enough. A lot of time and effort gets wasted in the end.
(I can go ahead and list the maps that need tweaking after checking them myself later if thats needed.)
Setting a more reasonable height limit can and will definitely help out and improve the player experience on brlns pvp games.
Gravity N is a good example of a reasonable build height limit and even has that sweet extra height between the void and map which gives nice leeway for pearls to land.
