Yes I have heard of Airplane. It's really funny with many great quotes such as:

"Don't call me Shirley."

and

"I take it black, like my men."

The second quote isn't as great as it is offensive and racist.

Also, here's a little story I heard from my mom about On Golden Pond.

My grandpa loved the movie when it first came out, so he took his wife, his daughter (my mom) and my uncle to New Hampshire where the film was set. The outcome was that my mom's elegant parents hated the place xD. This took place around 1982-1983 when my mom was 13-14.

The only bit I can even remember from the Final Destination series is the tanning bed death. That disturbs me to this day.
