Sometimes when the server restarts it takes a while to login. Even though it says you're already logged in, you're not really logged in, so that's why it appears as your level is one. To others you have a question mark.
Next time you should wait for a while, then play, because sometimes it could take an hour to login because servers are getting full which makes them laggy.
