So much confused that what to called after seeing many youtubers called it differently.
 
I was taught it was pronounced lever, however some people i know get mad when people say leaver instead of lever so i say leaver
Those people are also mad about people saying zed instead of zee

Officialy if you speak American English it can be pronounced both ways and be considered correct. The reason for this being Americans come from all over and have a variety of different accents. If you live in Europe its only considered correct if you pronounce it le-ver.
