Hello! There are always new people joining our community and they mostly
come here for one reason: to report hackers. I am here to get the new players to try and understand how to properly report a hacker so they can be successfully banned.
1) Include the player's in-game name (their nametag above their head). Please make sure you have spelt it exactly correct (no missing letters or numbers).
2) Say how they're hacking.
Are they flying, have jump boost or speed? Are they using more than one hack?
3) Consider lag.
If you are reporting someone for being invisible then please think about whether it was just lag, bugs or glitching which is all to do with server problems only. Was the world fully loaded for you? Were there chunks missing? If it was just lag, bugs or glitching then discard thoughts of reporting the said hacker as they're probably innocent and not a hacker.
4) Add proof.
Reporting a fly/jump boost hacker:
Just simply screenshot on your device of the hacker while they are in the air and it's clear to see they're hacking. Once on here and have started a thread, press the button "Upload a File" and click on your chosen image which should be in your gallery.
Reporting a speed hacker:
It's harder to see speed hackers in just screenshots so recording a video is recommended. Just download a video recorder compatible with your device (ask @Manwee or @Plushtrap_123 for help with that) and record the hacker while they are speed hacking. You might have to upload the video to YouTube then link it here. How you do that is you upload the recorded footage to YouTube then log on here and create your thread. You see that smiley face button in your top left hand corner of the message box? Click on the video tape button to the right of the mountain picture button. Copy and paste the link address (address in search bar at the top of screen) of your video when it's open and paused. It should work.
That is how you successfully report a hacker and get them banned. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT ALL 4 STEPS!!!
