Well, spontaneous debates aren’t really a thing xD It’s just something I thought while in History class. We have these discussions where we’re all given information on a specific subject and are allowed to develop our own opionions on the subject. They’re really hard, since there’s no right answer or somewhat convincing answer. Anyway, I’ll join! :)

EDIT: Oh, I forgot the main reason I came up with spontaneous debates xD I really hate research, like it (almost) physically hurts me to do any kind of research. It’s basically a lazy excuse not to do research, but I made it sound somewhat intriguing, eh?

So recently, there has been a lot of Mafia games, and I thought of something new. @TheNeonHamster posted a thread (Constructive Critism vs. Critism) that gave me an idea. The idea is a friendly debate club.

Lots of people like to debate about topics. This is a way to put it in a nice way. It's not a 5 paragraph essay, it's just something fun. Plus, it will be relatable and fun topics to talk about.

I'll be accepting UP to 30 people. I'll be starting the first topic of debate on Monday. (If it works. If it doesn't, I'll scrap the idea).
DEADLINE: Tomarrow, Sunday

Next week Agenda:
1. Sunday: For those of the people participating, I'll be giving out their "roles". (You do not choose what side of the debate you are)
1. Monday: I'll be introducing the topic. The first topic will be "Are Extraterrestrial beings real?" Your job is to brainstorm what you want to say.
2. Tuesday-Wednesday: Do your research on the side you are on.
3. Thursday: Come up with your counter argument. (A counter argument is your rebuttal towards the other side. If the other side says something, you need information to discredit it)
4. Friday: DEBATE TIME!

Anyone is free to join, even staff!
I will not be participating. There will be one winner, and I'm the judge. I will not be biased here, and I will choose the side that is most convincing to me.
