Hey people do you whant to see this on minecraft bedrock and console edition

pleas vote for my feedback. If this gets added we people can just remove this old light source that had been on this game for a long time.

This is just my opinion, but what's the point of removing something just because It's old. It still does the job just fine and in fact it gives off more light than the fancy lamp post thing you showed us.

Man you mayheard thistat one point out with the old and in with the new. BTW or by the way we need the lantern post because it's a better light source and you can also give better details on you wrold like a lighted path ways or a light source for your mines and maby use it in your house

I'm with Dark on this. I don't see a need for this. It's not that hard to build something similar yourself. The old design is a great way to get free torches and does its job just fine.

If anything, this should just be added in as a craftable item so that if people want to use it, they can.
There's already lanterns also- why do they need a special post? I don't always put posts with lanterns in my worlds and when I do fences work just fine.
Also- The new design contains one lantern so one light source. The old design you have pictured shows 4 torches- so that can be 4 light sources if you decide to spread the torches out. So technically the old design has more light. Not everything needs to be the brightest it can possibly be.

I mean lantern post would be cool because it will give the village look more like a village than a pile of block stack together.

Calm down every one and btw torches is ok but what I'm trying to say is that with lantern post you can make the village more like a village that again a stack of blocks
