As we all know, millions of people play Minecraft, and a lot of those people come from many different countries, and a lot of those countries speak many different languages. I've noticed that in many PE servers, there will be people that speak Spanish, French, German, Indonesian, etc., and with the exception of some basic español, I won't be able to understand them, and if the server is an English speaking server, they won't be able to understand anything on the server unless it is translated, or they know English. This is very important for a server like Broken Lens, where some mini games require knowledge in English to play properly. The biggest case in point is The Best Builder. Often times, I see a foreign language speaker try to play, but they end off building something way off topic, and therefore, they are given bad voting scores. This is because they don't know what the topic says, because it's in English, and they don't know that much, if any, English. This also goes for Draw and Guess, where they can't guess the right word unless they know the English word for what they see. I could list a few more examples, but the point is that these people need a way to set their language and translate the English words to that language. I'm just talking about stuff that comes from the server, you don't necessarily have to translate what people say in chat.
What I recommend someone does, is when a person registers, it asks them their language and gives them a list of languages (I recommend English, Spanish, French, German, and Indonesian. Though you can add more if you want to), and when the language is set, it changes all the server text on their side to the respective language (also be sure to make an option to change this in the Options Menu). That way, people of all languages can have a better time (and therefore, more fun) playing the same game other players of other languages do!
I know you guys know how to do this. The only challenge is to translate the server texts. I wish you guys Good luck!
