Maybe check your Ping? Maybe it's just client side lag. Check your internet connection if anything is up

It depends on the device you use, also if your Minecraft app is completely updated. Whenever I play on my brother's phone the lag is horrid! Texts come in late, being near hub is trauma, and loading in the game is a mess. I even get kicked out for no reason. But whenever I play on my parent's phone (they have newer models) It works perfectly fine! Chat, loading, hub is perfect. And since my parent's phone updates automatically I don't have to worry about a lot of things unlike my brother's phone.

And my internet is perfectly fine on both phones as well! It just depends on the specific device, how much space is taken up on them, and a lot of other things. It's not the game/app. Hope this helps! And, sorry I don't know a specific way of fixing it. And the only option I could tell you would either be to try to clear as much data, restart your device, and update your app. Or get a newer device.
