The Update caused the whole server to lag cause of Bugs. :/ or something like that.

You could either
01. Blame the bugs in multiplayer that have nothing to do with the update
Or
02. Blame the server software

Also ik realms aren't perfect
But
Realms are servers made and maintained by mojang
Unlike
Minigame servers like brokenlens that blame the update then maybe do something about it

I've played a few servers that aren't as laggy as brokenlens, so brokenlens must have something other servers don't to that makes it laggy
