Lag/bug at block party

Yesterday When I was playing I saw a gap on ground I didnt know if it was safe to go on it or not.. But I thought that maybe it became invisible bc of lag... Is that a lag or bug.. I hope I dont see it again

That's happened to me too, but I wasn't lagging. Hope it gets fixed
