I can't be the only one who struggles to get down ladders through a one block gap on the floor, Right?
Especially in a rush.
While almost every other map tends to have ladders throughout the server; there exists a neat fix.
By adding slabs around the entrance facing one direction, players will be able to position themselves effectively and more efficiently. Or alternatively leave an entire block missing infront. However, the entrance being up against a corner is more ideal but im aware that's not possible in most maps.
I've tested this out and overall the slabs work better second to having one or three or even five block gaps at the entrance as opposed to the old fashioned design. Although the aesthetic may end up getting ruined. I personally prefer functionality.
Side note: the player below gets a bit of reach advantage on the player up top
