The bodies, after so long, were finally found. They were reported to the king and the entire kingdom was called to the castle plaza. A lynch was wheeled over, and on it, stood the king. He called out for everyone to vote on someone who they thought was suspicious. After a vote count, Ram was called up to the lynch. He was voted the most suspicious and was hung on the lynch. Not too long after, he died.
Was Romeo part of the Mafia?
───── ❝ Day 2 ❞ ─────
One month went by without any murders. Surely, they had caught a Mafia member, right?
Char went around the kingdom helping those who were diseased and injured. There was the occasional time when she was called to a shady place, but otherwise, work was normal. However, her next place she had to go was a completely abandoned street.
Weird, she thought. This street had been abandoned for 14 years (hehe) after a bombing there. Char walked into the middle of the street, and a huge feeling of being watched fell onto her. She looked around but saw no one. Remembering about how in storybooks that shaking off the feeling would result in death, Char dropped all of her belongings and work stuff and bolted towards a street that did have (very few) people in it. She heard a person curse in the distance, and she smiled, as she thought she had avoided death. She then fell onto the ground with a bullet wound in her back, dead. A figure in one of the abandoned houses took off the gun muffler and ran.
Robin saw Char plop to the ground and ran towards her. He called over the people in the street that Char was running towards for assistance, but they just stopped and stared. He attempted to take the bullet out of Char’s back but with no success. He then heard footsteps behind him, and when he turned around, a figure gestured for Robin to give them the body. Robin assumed that the person would help him carry Char’s body to a clinic, but as soon as he did, the person whipped out a dagger and stabbed Robin in the heard. Robin coughed up blood and gagged, but there was no saving him. The person dropped Char’s body and ran off, while screams echoed in the street over.
