There's a dye in your inventory and u just hold it or right click it, depends on what device you're on, and if it's activated, it'll say ShieldPower: On
But I'm not sure the shield works anymore, so XD

The shield used to work when the pvp was broken but vertx reduced how the shield works because he fixed the pvp and a lot of players were complaining.
