You may or may not be chosen for staff. They have to put your application into consideration first

You should be helpful and they will observe your performance in both forums and server. Yes maybe it will take a long time

No one contacts you if you did or did not make it, you will know when you have been accepted.

In the mean time, helping out with the community and getting involved with others could help you, as they almost never hire someone within a few days time after they applied.

This is a bit repetitive I guess xD

As everyone has said, you don't get contacted if they've reviewed your application or not. You just have to wait and be patient for a while. It'll probably take months if you get accepted from what I've seen. If you're wondering why it takes this long, it's most likely because they want to ensure they're choosing the right people to handle becoming a staff member. Uhhh.. In the meanwhile you can improve your chances by helping out in the community such as reporting hackers, welcoming newcomers on the server/forums... Stuff like that. Again, just from what I've seen.

Hi there!
I'm assuming BrokenLens gets tons of applications daily, so I'm pretty sure they don't have the time to reply to every single email or application they get. Remember, BrokenLens is most likely to "hire" people who have been helping on the Forum for a long time.
If you don't get an Email, it may just means you're not qualified enough yet or they have enough people right now (I'm not staff so I'm not certain).
