Java Edition is too laggy

Sorry for bad English.
I sometimes play BrokenLens Server on Java edition.(I usually play it on Pocket edition.)
There's serious LAG when I play on Java Edition. Is there anything I can do to eliminate lag when I play brokenlens? Or can you improve this problem? I don't want to buy Bedrock edition...

The Broken Lens server works better on Minecraft Pocket Edition, otherwise known as Bed Rock. And since the server is meant to be played on PE or PC, Java players will experience more lag and bug issues.

There isn't a way to 'eliminate' the lag issues.

• Can you fix the problem?

Vertx is always on the look out for bugs, lag issues, in-game bugs, etc.

At the end, the Broken Lens server will always have lag or bug issues.

I main Java so I can give u some tips:

I play 1.8.9 which is rly smooth
DO NOT PLAY LATEST version that’s too laggy to play
If you’re more of a pvp type of guy, 1.15.2 for sure.

the only down side to 1.8.9 is people go invisible and for pvp purposes you don’t want ur opponent going invis on u

Thank you everyone. I tryed 1.15.2 , 1.8 , 1.8.9 and all of them were laggy... But they werent laggy when I played in midnight , so I'll play in midnight.
