So theres this crevice in MM Castle (i think thats it). if you fall into it you end up in an ice cave that you cant escape. Idk if this is supposed to be accessible

there's actually a way to escape that the builders have made.. so I assume it's supposed to be a thing xD

You can escape-
The next time you play on that map, instead of falling into the holes down to the bottom, go to the source of the frozen waterfall. There will be a set of stairs that would lead you down there and can be used to get back up
