as you can tell by my status spam i’m very happy that mcr is going on tour- so i’m tryna convince my mom to take my friend and i. would this be convincing?
“okay so i know you really only know that i listen to panic! but there’s another band (my chemical romance) that i’ve gotten into fairly recently. they’re a little heavier than panic!, but about the same genre as linkin park. the band started back in 2001 to help people who were affected by 9/11 to give some context. they recently announced a tour for later this year and the one that i saw closest is in philadelphia. it’s a little ways away from here but we have driven to nashville for a concert before.
the concert is september 18th which is right before [friend of mine] birthday, and she also likes the band. i was wondering if we could possibly go, and take her as a birthday present, since last year we couldn’t rly get her anything. obviously you’d have to ask her mom and all but we both really wanna go the tickets go on sale 1/31 at [time] and they’ll most likely sell out fast, since this is their first tour since 2011 or 2012. they don’t have the prices up right now but if you can, could you try and get the tickets if they aren’t too pricey/you’re able to get them?”
if you don’t care don’t answer and be rude i’m just asking the ppl who said i should give it a shot
edit: she said “i’ll have to see abt it” which usually means no but she also said that abt the panic! concert and we went so idk
