Is this a Minecraft bug?

So over the weekend I was trying to prove that you can beat Minecraft when all stone is replaced by air.

And then it started raining underground.

It was raining above the clouds too... rain in Minecraft just doesn’t make much sense

Rain is a picture + a sound + an effect on burning mobs . . . so yeah its normal it it rain ABOVE clouds and as i see it seams to have some opening above you , so yeah its normal if it rain underground oh and spoiler alert , yeah you can beat MC without stone , thats easy af i've done it a fe weeks ago
