Is this a glitch in mc?

When i updated to 1.9.0.3 (which includes crossbow and its enchantments) i created a new world in creative mode to test crossbow and its enchantments... but i cant find neither crossbow nor its enchantments... but i can find ALL other new features until now... so is it a glitch?
Rlly i need ur help
Pst: crossbow and its enchantments r already added like in 1.8.0.3

What's experimental gameplay exactly?

It adds the stuff from the next update to here, but it may be buggy. AFAIK, It only works on the aquatic update from 1.2 to 1.4 or somethin
